About Chad Dauman
While attending the Western New England College School of Law, Chad Dauman earned a prestigious Center for Computer-Assisted Legal Instruction (CALI) Excellence for the Future Award for his study of evidence and white collar crime. CALI is a nonprofit consortium of law schools that develops computer-based courses on law-related issues. Chad Dauman is ranked in the top 12 percent of his class and plans to receive his Juris Doctor in May of 2011. A member of Alpha Phi Sigma, a national criminal justice honor society, Chad Dauman is also a valued part of the Western New England College School of Law Trial Team. Chad Dauman’s drive for excellence was evident during high school in Bethpage, New York, where he was a two-time All-Conference wrestler and accomplished football player.
Today, Chad Dauman focuses on professional development while completing his studies. He currently works as a Research Assistant on Eric Blumenson’s treatise on Massachusetts criminal defense. Chad Dauman actively updates, revises, and edits the treatise to mirror the latest case law. He also helps protect consumers and tenants as a Student Attorney with the Consumer Protection Clinic. Chad Dauman’s responsibilities include filing complaints, interviewing clients, and preparing for trials.
Chad Dauman’s varied personal interests include woodworking, skiing, solving logic puzzles, and playing the drums. An avid reader, Chad Dauman counts Dickens, Steinbeck, and Poe among his favorite authors.
